Comprehensive Energy Psychology merges Eastern energy medicine with Western psychology, integrating mind and body into a healing modality that facilitates positive changes in thought, emotion, and behavior. Why Energy Psychology?
I was first introduced to energy psychology in 2005, early on in my personal healing journey. From the very first session, I knew I was experiencing something powerful, and deeply transformative. After each hour-long session, I would walk out of the room feeling as if I had experienced greater healing and transformation in 60 minutes than I had in several years of weekly talk therapy. After each session, I felt a sense of freedom expanding within me, and I felt more grounded and centered within myself. In each session, I released more and more of my past, processed and healed core wounds, let go of negative ways of thinking, and connected more deeply with my authentic self. It truly changed my life.
By 2007 I began studying Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) in earnest, and it quickly became one of my primary self-care and self-treatment tools. I continue to use it in my life today, both personally and professionally. Over the years I have continued to study EFT, energy medicine, and many of various schools of energy psychology. However, in 2015 I finally had the opportunity to dive even deeper into my studies with Comprehensive Energy Psychology, an integration of the most effective approaches in energy therapy merged into a very specific, personalized treatment intervention. I believe it is the best of energy psychology today, in a very customized, specific, and highly effective method.
Energy Psychology continues to improve my life every day. The number of breakthroughs I have personally experienced are so numerous I have lost count. I have healed my money story, released fear and anxiety, cleared years of repressed emotions, overcome depression, healed from chronic illness, cleared limiting beliefs, and fully stepped into my gifts and greater purpose with the help of this powerful modality. I simply cannot imagine where I would be today if I had never been introduced to Energy Psychology, and now I am beyond excited to be able to offer both EFT and Comprehensive Energy Psychology to my clients, and I have to say, they LOVE it because they have seen it work in their own lives!

How does Comprehensive Energy Psychology compare with Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT or Tapping)?
EFT is just one of the many schools of energy psychology techniques available today. However, EFT is more of a one-size fits all, general technique that works for 80% of people, 80% of the time, on 80% of issues. Comprehensive Energy Psychology is inclusive of many aspects of EFT, yet also much more expansive and a lot more specific. As an EFT practitioner for many years now, I have found that Comprehensive Energy Psychology to be even more effective than EFT due to the very specific, individually customized and targeted approach to treatment.
How long are sessions and how many sessions are needed?
On average, sessions run 90-minutes in length. The number of sessions needed depends entirely on the individual, what the treatment focus is, and how much energy, trauma, emotion, or wounding is blocking one’s success. However, generally I suggest starting with at least 5 sessions to address a single issue.
Is Comprehensive Energy Psychology appropriate for addressing trauma?
Although Comprehensive Energy Psychology can be very effective in healing trauma, I am not a psychotherapist, psychologist, doctor, or licensed mental health professional. If you are recovering from a serious trauma, it is my recommendation that you begin working with a licensed therapist first, and that you continue to have a licensed therapist on your support team if and when you decide you ready for an Energy Psychology intervention.
My approach is very focused on helping you achieve your goals, and to release and/or heal anything that is currently holding you back in your life. There may be times when we trace an issue to an old trauma, which we can address with Energy Psychology. These will likely be issues that you have already done some level of inner work around before. However, I am not the right practitioner for you if you are currently in recovery from a recent severe trauma or a trauma that you have never addressed before.
